From an early age Jonathan wanted to be a hotel general manager. After studying hotel management, he went to train at Oakley Court in Windsor, then spent 8 years in Edinburgh at the Caledonian and Balmoral hotels, lastly as director of food and beverage.

Following a stint with Marriott, Jonathan spent 14 years with IHG, opening two hotels in Birmingham and London, before moving to multi-hotel management, after which he took a corporate position leading food and beverage in the UK and providing operational support for Europe. While in this role, Jonathan completed a masters in Leisure and Tourism at Strathclyde University.
 
For many years Jonathan wanted to invest in hotels, and in 2016 the perfect opportunity came up in the full refurbishment and opening of a 40-bedroom boutique hotel and spa in Bath, No.15 Great Pulteney.

Since its opening, No.15 has gone on to win many awards, locally and nationally, including Outstanding New Hotel at the Independent Hotel Show and a Gold Award for Hotel of the Year at the Bath, Bristol and Somerset Tourism awards.

Jonathan is passionate about providing genuine and authentic experiences for every guest and instills his love of hospitality in the No.15 team.
